A short visit to England

Went to see Iceland v Sweden at the Icelandic international stadium last night. Me, Joanna and Jolyon really enjoyed it but left when there was about half an hour left because Jolyon was cold and Joanna wasn't feeling so good. She's in bed today again.

Got to take Joy, our cat, to the vets today so she can have her bloods taken, prior to moving to England. After a load of hassle and the Icelandic head vet misunderstanding the British law regarding transportation of pets, it's finally all sorted. Now I just need to find a crate that is big enough to ship her in.

Things are just plodding along here really, not much to report. We're all looking forward to our visit to England at the end of the month and Joanna is now going to stay with us the full week. This means I need to get Joy booked in to a cat hotel as Joanna doesn't want to leave her for a week in the house. We are going to use our visit to do a bit of house and job hunting as well as visiting friends and family, having a look at Jolyons new school and enjoying some time together ... that's alot to fit into one week and I have a feeling that the spending time together bit might not happen so much ... we look forward to seeing you all, anyway ...
