It's getting tough ...

Well, our pianist, Halli, is on vacation now till 5 September. Things will continue to stay quiet around the band ... I'm running out of things to say on the band website to keep it going.

It was culture day/night on Saturday and the four of us walked into town, which was heaving. We ran the marathon ... well, it was the 1.5km childrens 'Lazy Town' marathon and it was so crowded that we walked most the way, Elijah in his pram pushed by mummy ... had a good time though!

On sunday we all went for a cycle. We'd stuck the chair on the back of mummys' bike, which daddy rode' and Elijah sat there, not quite sure what to make of it all. Was telling us all about it afterwards though so he must have enjoyed it ...'gooooogglee giiiiiggglllee geee geee gaa' ... He looks really cute in his new cycle helmet which is half the size of him. In the evening me and Jolyon went to a family party at my mums brother which was good fun as Kristján Geir, my nine year old cousin, was there so him and Jolyon ran about outside for three hours. That's healthy living!

Jolyon's school starts tonight with a reception and his first proper day is tomorrow. Both him and Joanna are finding Iceland very tough and hopefully Jolyon will feel better once he's in the school routine, spending time with his peers. That'll make it a bit easier for all of us.

Thanks for reading ...
