Pandoras Box - Sometimes things just fall apart
Had a look at the online radio station Pandora because Sváfnir had linked to it. It's great. I've now got my headphones on at work most of the day listening to my own personal radio stations depending on what mood I'm in. It works like this, you create your profile by putting in the title of a song or artist and the radio station plays songs by that artists and others that it thinks you might like in the same sort of style. You can have many different artists, i.e. many different radio stations to choose from.
So far I've got the following radio stations:
Chris Cornell
Dave Navarro
Mötley Crue
Steve Vai
Pantera (the most listened to)
Red Hot Chili Peppers
There will be more added to the list, for sure.
As I was writing this blog Joanna phoned and told me the bad news that our childminder might have to stop child minding. That puts a spanner in the works. Joanna won't be able to take that job then ... not that she really wanted to ... but it'll be unsettling for Elijah, whom I wrote about a few hours ago hinting that he wasn't aware of the unsettlement in the camps. He'll take full part come the start of October unfortunately. So there we go, Joanna with no job, Jolyon with no friends outside of school (cos the children in the street won't talk to him for some peculiar reason ... probably to do with the fact that he approaches them and speaks english) and hence he has little confidence and Elijah without his one stable point outside of his mum, dad and big brother. Iceland has been a lot of hassle and little of what we hoped or planned.
This sucks, man ...
